Program
Provisional — full schedule to followA full-day, Dagstuhl-style (“Barstuhl”) workshop: discussion-driven, not a paper track. The shape below reflects the accepted proposal; exact timings will be finalized closer to the workshop day. A Zotero group will be created for collaborative bibliography management.
-
Plenary pitch session · ~90 minutes
Selected lightning pitches balancing the theoretical/logician and engineering/database perspectives. -
Breakout working sessions · ~180 minutes
Three parallel pillars — (a) Reference Use Cases, (b) Engineering Challenges, (c) Foundational Models (see Research questions) — run as three 60-minute rounds with participant reshuffling; each group drafts sections of the community document. -
Alignment & synthesis plenary · 60–90 minutes
Reconcile breakout outputs, resolve friction, and set the roadmap and writing assignments for the White Paper.
Exact timings and room assignment will be finalized closer to the workshop day (25 or 26 October 2026, exact day assigned by the ISWC chairs).
